Profile
This one year old yellow dog is looking for a new home due to a change in the family circumstances.
He has lived with older children and cats although the cats do keep out of the way!
He is looking for an experienced home that are willing and able to put in both time and training. He is a large, boisterous boy, he still jumps up, mouths and pulls strongly on the lead. He has chewed, but this may be due to boredom as he is not taken out enough at present. He is cage trained and settles well at night. He responds well to firm commands and is very loving.
He really needs a family with somebody who is both at home and available for most of the time and are able to spend the time to channel his exuberance in a constructive and positive way.
No young children because of his size and active disposition. Teenage children would probably be OK but they would need to be part of the training and understand the calm, consistent manner he needs to be managed.
His new owners will need to be fit and understand that he will need time on a daily basis for training and exercise to manage his activity level and calm him down.
As he has not yet been castrated, the charity will contribute towards the cost of this procedure in due course.
We would prefer a home near Kent so that ongoing support can be provided if necessary.
You would be welcome to call if you would like more details.
