Hello, my name is Roxie, I am an eight year old black labrador and I was rehomed by LRSEC at the beginning of June 2011.
When I first arrived at my new home I was a bit nervous & quiet but soon realised I was adored by my new owners & their existing female black Labrador, Maud. Since that day Maud and I have been inseparable. Maud is 18months younger & some times it’s difficult to tell us apart as we are so alike.
I have taken the upper paw in sniffing & general investigation duties – she is very happy to have me as her companion & follows my lead wherever our adventures take us. We have been on many trips together this summer, a weekend splashing around by the sea in North Cornwall, a wet weekend in mid Devon swimming in the river and a beautifully sunny day playing ball & digging in the sand dunes on the Norfolk coast. This is a picture of us snoozing in perfect symmetry in front of the fire where we like to spend our evenings, snuggling.
Must dash, Roxie x
p.s. I have been given my very own passport for a two week holiday in France next summer, Maud has been before & tells me stories of being fed steak in restaurants in Biarritz by the chef….
